What the app tracks

Depending on how you use it, the app can store: menstrual cycle data, pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause tracking, food, liquids, sleep, and activity logs, notes and diary entries, sexual activity, neurodivergence-related tracking (including sensory, masking, burnout, and condition-specific fields), medication and appointment records, weight and blood pressure, and a short mental wellbeing check-in (PHQ-2, a standard screening questionnaire — this is not a diagnosis and does not replace a conversation with a doctor).

Where that data lives

All of it stays in local storage on your device. The app does not create a user account, does not run analytics, does not serve ads, and does not transmit your tracked data to us or to any third party. We cannot see your data — there is nowhere for us to see it.

Backups

You can optionally create an encrypted backup, protected by a password you set yourself. Where that backup is saved — your device's storage, an SD card, or a cloud-synced folder you choose — is entirely your decision. We do not host, receive, or have access to these backups. Sharing with a partner

The app has an optional feature to share a limited, specific slice of data — your current cycle day, phase, and next predicted period — nothing else — with a partner, via an encrypted file you create yourself and a code you choose. This is a static export, not a live sync: it reflects a single moment, not an ongoing connection, and it never passes through our servers, because we don't have any. Because there's no live connection, a file you've already shared can't be remotely revoked once it's in someone else's hands — there's simply nothing to switch off. You stay in control of what happens going forward: you decide whether to create another export, and only the specific fields listed above are ever included, never your full data.

Subscription & payment

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your card number, billing address, or any other payment detail — that relationship is between you and Google. We only know whether a subscription is currently active, which Google Play tells the app directly.

Your rights

Because everything is stored locally, you are always in direct control of your own data: deleting the app deletes everything it stored. If you're in the EU, you also have rights under GDPR regarding any data you do choose to share (such as with a partner, or in a backup you store elsewhere) — since we never receive or hold that data ourselves, exercising those rights is primarily a matter of managing your own device and backups. Children

Little Greenhouse is not directed at, or intended for use by, children.
